Cascadias get their CPC stolen because the truck will not start without it. At the dealer a new one costs about $1,300 plus a $1,400 core charge, since the old one is gone and you have nothing to return. With tax that is over $2,700, before counting the days your truck sits. This harness costs $299 and you install it once.

Locks, alarms and cameras scare thieves, but once they open the cab, the CPC is gone. Hiding it is not enough either: we used to make a cable to hide it, and we learned that if they look for it, they find it. That is why the answer is to take it with you every time you leave the truck.
